PHAB NS is a self-funded, volunteer-run non-profit society dedicated to researching, documenting, and sharing the history of burlesque in Nova Scotia. Our work focuses on preserving historical materials, building public resources, and supporting education and research related to burlesque and performance history in the region.
Financial contributions help support operational and archival expenses, including archival access and reproduction fees, digital and physical storage, website hosting and maintenance, research materials, and administrative costs. All support directly contributes to the continued development and preservation of the PHAB NS archive and related public history initiatives.
PHAB NS is not currently a registered charity and cannot issue charitable tax receipts.
We also accept in-kind donations, including photographs, programs, newspaper clippings, memorabilia, archival materials, and professional services relevant to the preservation of burlesque history in Nova Scotia.
Support through donations, merchandise purchases, and community contributions helps sustain ongoing research, preservation, and public engagement efforts related to Nova Scotia’s burlesque history.
